Do students need to create an account?+
No MessMate account and no email. They scan the mess’s QR once to register, or the owner adds them at the counter. Either way they sign in with their phone number and a password, and the owner can reset it in two taps.
What if a student forgets to scan?+
Mark them at the counter by number, name or phone, or at the exit checkpoint. Nobody who ate goes unrecorded.
Does MessMate take payments?+
No. Students pay you directly, exactly as they do now. You record each instalment and MessMate keeps the full history and the running balance.
Do I need the Android app?+
No — everything works in a browser. The app is just faster to open and keeps you signed in.
